Having a new friend is like removing an old rival

Friendship poems are among the most commonly read, written, and shared in the world. Social friendship has a tendency be a friendship between two people who've known each other for a long time. But the word “friendship “itself can depend upon the attitude of the two partner.
-->

Writers can write friendship poetry in a good or bad way about the friend. If the poem is written in a good way, the poet usually writes about how they appreciate the friend or about good things that the friend has done, but if the poem is written in a bad way, the composer usually writes bad things about their friend or what about how the friend did bad things.

Friendship poems can have a positive or negative influence on you. If you’re having a good friend that you appreciate them, it means that you have a companion who will help you overcome the obstacles that you may encounter in the daily life. But if you have a bad friend, you will start to lose faith in friendship and will be fond of selfishness, trusting no one but yourself. So whenever you want to have a new friend, make a wise choice.

This Is Our End ~ by Jessica A. Phillipi

friendship poems 1

You can stand there and smile you can sit there and laugh
but you can't trick me I know it's a mask
You’re trying to lie to me and everyone else
but why is it that you’re lying to yourself?
You can calmly sit there and try to look cool
but I know your emotions and I know you’re a fool
I know inside you your feelings rage
The suspense builds with the turn of a page
By day you’re one person by night another
and neither of them have anything to do with each other
I've watched you sink farther from your heart
and all of this just tears me apart
I sit here and cry, for you not for me
What you've become I wish you could see
No words could I use to help me explain
what it does to me to see you in pain
You’re not there anymore my dearest friend
I hate to say this but this is our end

Why GOD Gave Us Friends

friendship poems 2

GOD knew that everyone needs
Companionship and cheer,
He knew that people need someone
Whose thoughts are always near.

He knew they need someone kind
To lend a helping hand.
Someone to gladly take the time
To care and understand.

GOD knew that we all need someone
To share each happy day,
To be a source of courage
When troubles come our way.

Someone to be true to us,
Whether near or far apart.
Someone whose love we'll always
Hold and treasure in our hearts.

That's Why GOD Gave Us Friends!

For Binky ~ by Raymond Stewart

friendship poems 3

Today we had to let you go,
It broke our hearts in two,
We had to leave you at that place,
Alone and feeling blue,
The only thing that we could do,
Was drive back home and cry,
For we just couldn't keep you,
No matter how we tried,
You'll never be forgotten,
As long as we two live,
You gave us all the love,
A little dog could give,
We'll think about you often,
And wonder where you are,
And in our hearts we'll hear your bell,
Tinkling from afar.

Friends ~ by Narek Oganesyan

friendship poems 4

Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss,
If you are my friend, please answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
You told me once, but I forgot.
So tell me now, and tell me true,
So I can say I'm here for you.
Of all the friends I've ever met,
You're the one I won't forget.
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to Heaven and wait for you,
I'll give the angels back their wings
And risk the loss of everything.
There isn't a thing I wouldn't do,
To have a friend just like you!
